Ages 3-5 45 minutes
These classes introduce young children to dance fostering good posture, grace, and musicality while encouraging creativity and self-expression through movement. Students ages 3-5 typically start in either a ballet/tap combo class or pre-ballet class. These classes feature simple singing and dancing routines used to help young students memorize dance moves, along with using props such as stuffed animals/baby dolls and magic wands.
Ages 6-Teen 1 Hour
These classes are a beginning to ballet and will introduce new steps, vocabulary, and emphasize correct body mechanics. They focus on fine-tuning technique and working on more advanced combinations, featuring a variety of turns, jumps, spins, leaps, extensions, and more. As students near the age of 12 and become more serious about pursuing ballet, they will begin to be evaluated for leveling up and being put en pointe.
Ages 12-18 1 hour + 30 min
This class focuses on proper execution of classical ballet training and technique, as well as specific strengthening for those on pointe. Class will consist of barre-work followed by stretching and then center and across the floor work. Combinations include working on various pirouettes, grand jetes, double and triple piques, fouette turns, petit allegro, and adagio, as well as many other traditional ballet moves.
Ages 6-Adult 1 hour + 30 min
Jazz is a performance-based style that focuses on a more modern and theatric version of the extensions and proper technique seen in ballet. These classes begin with warm ups to fun music, and combinations featuring turns, leaps, and other routines that emphasize spontaneous, fashionable, and dramatic movements full of character.
These classes are paired with tap, which is a style that focuses on quick, syncopated movement of the feet. Students will be led through warm-ups of shuffles, flaps, slaps, riffs, time steps, wings, buffalos, and many more depending on the level.
Ages 4-18 1 Hour
Taught by a former gymnast of 10 years, this class will teach students acro and tumbling tricks across the floor in a safe and supervised environment. Preceded by a detailed warm up, students will learn basic skills that will progress in difficulty depending on age and experience. Want to learn a back handspring or simply a cartwheel? Students will be able to bring to class any tricks they personally want to learn and will receive some one-on-one time if the clock permits.
Ages 6-Adult 1 Hour
Through this class, we aim to push our dancers and their movement in new directions. Our class is heavily focused on ballet technique and terminology such as pirouettes, jetés, battements, etc. Experimentation and improvisation also play a major role in this class, where we get to explore how our body moves through space, shifting weight, floor work, and overall movement control. Through across the floor exercises and various combos, this class encourages dancers to feel their movement from within and share that feeling through performance.
Beginning Lyrical - required enrollment in Ballet I or higher
Ages 12-Adult 1 hour + 30 min
This class focuses on developing and improving health related fitness. This
includes core strength, prevention of injuries, increased flexibility/mobility, stamina, and better balance. Strength
and conditioning helps to promote a healthier lifestyle, enhanced mood, and increased energy.
Ages 12-Adult 1 Hour
This class encompasses everything from fun and intricate hip hop combos to a variety of tricks, such as kips and headsprings. It's all about letting go and being loose with our body movements, while at the same time learning to control and isolate them. We encourage our dancers to step outside their comfort zones and learn new performative and technical skills. Whether we go at a fast or slow tempo, Hip Hop is a style of dance that is full of character, attitude, and fun!
Ages 7-Adult 1 hour + 15 min
The entirety of this class is focused on stretching the flexibility of the muscles and performing exercises that build upper, core, and lower body strength, endurance, balance, and technique used in all styles of dance. Students will also be utilizing yoga bands and other props to deepen stretch and reach desired flexibility. This is a perfect class to enroll in for some extra foundation support for other classes.

Based on Jazz technique, this class introduces students to different styles of Broadway dance. Through across the floor exercises and learning new combinations, students will improve their ability to pick up choreography quickly. The main focus of this class is to get dancers comfortable in all aspects of musical theatre performance (acting, singing, and dance).
Ages 10-Adult 1 hour + 15 min
This class will help students improve their overall technique and learn proper form to execute a variety of turns and leaps. Students are lead through a warm-up focused on strength and flexibility, center work, and across the floor exercises based on Ballet and Jazz technique.
Ages 7-Adult 1 Hour
Praise dancing is a spiritual dance form that incorporates music and movement as an act of worship rather than entertainment. Praise dancers use their bodies to express the word and spirit of God. Similar to lyrical, this class will instruct students on ways to improve in technique, grace, and confidence in emotion-led dance without compromising anointed worship.
Students ages 3-5 typically start in either a ballet/tap combo class or pre-ballet class. These classes feature simple singing and dancing routines that young students will pick up quickly, along with using props such as stuffed animals/baby dolls and magic wands. Once they reach age 6, they may move up to the next level, which begins to explore technique, vocabulary, and more skilled ballet and tap moves.
As students get older and reach the higher levels of ballet, jazz, and tap, they are eligible to join lyrical and hip hop I-II (beginning lyrical and hip hop are available for everyone ages 3 and up). Lyrical I-II cannot be taken without at least one ballet class.
First-time students who are older may be placed depending on their age and level of previous experience. Placement in this case is up to the discretion of Miss Linda, the parent(s), and the student. Trial classes are advised.
Miss Linda will determine that a student is ready to move up to the next level when that student has mastered the curriculum of the previous level.
